Injuries & Conditions We Treat
Manual Therapy
Hands-on techniques used to reduce pain, improve mobility, and address joint and soft tissue restrictions. Manual therapy is especially effective for conditions such as TMJ dysfunction, neck pain, back pain, and musculoskeletal injuries.
TMD (TMJ) & Orofacial Treatment
Specialized physical therapy for TMD (temporomandibular disorders), including TMJ (temporomandibular joint) pain, headaches, clenching, and related neck dysfunction. Treatment may include targeted manual therapy, muscle retraining, and postural correction to address the underlying causes of jaw pain and dysfunction.
Joint Mobilization
Gentle, skilled movements applied to joints to improve mobility, decrease stiffness, and restore movement patterns.
Dry Needling
A targeted treatment used to relieve muscle tension, reduce pain, and improve muscle function. Dry needling is commonly utilized for neck pain, headaches, TMJ-related muscle tension, and orthopedic conditions.
Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM)
A specialized technique using precision instruments to detect and treat soft tissue restrictions and scar tissue. IASTM helps improve mobility, reduce pain, and support tissue healing in both acute and chronic injuries.
Therapeutic Exercise
Individually prescribed exercises designed to improve strength, mobility, stability, and overall function. Programs are tailored to each patient’s condition and goals to promote long-term recovery and injury prevention.
Corrective Exercise/Movement Retraining
Focused exercises that address faulty movement patterns, muscle imbalances, and postural dysfunction. This approach is essential for preventing reinjury and improving performance in daily activities, work tasks, and athletics.
Mobility & Range of Motion Improvement
Targeted interventions to improve or restore joint and muscle mobility that has been limited by pain, injury, or chronic stiffness. Improving range of motion is a key component of recovery for TMJ, orthopedic injuries, and postural conditions.
Balance Training
Personalized balance and stability training to reduce fall risk, improve coordination, and enhance overall movement confidence. Appropriate for athletes, older adults, and individuals recovering from injury or vestibular-related issues.
Neuromuscular Reeducation
Treatment techniques designed to improve coordination, muscle activation, and movement control. This is especially beneficial for patients recovering from injury, dealing with chronic pain, or experiencing movement dysfunction.
Cupping Therapy
A soft tissue technique that uses suction to promote circulation, reduce muscle tension, and support recovery. Cupping may be incorporated as part of a comprehensive treatment plan when clinically appropriate.
Movement & Postural Assessment
A comprehensive evaluation of posture, movement mechanics, and functional limitations to identify the contributing factors of pain or dysfunction. This assessment guides the development of a highly individualized treatment plan tailored to your specific needs.
